just finished graphic project: the corporate image for a new hotel-lounge bar and restaurant located in Jaisalmer (India). You can see the logo here, theres version in black and "argilla" colour.
1st Gate, it will be a cool place to visit and stay in the golden city!

Love for Futura

I recently re-discovered the 1927's made Futura font, it was amazing to creating quikly graphics with it. Over.


Prodotto a partire dal 1927, il Futura è un font progettato da Paul Renner.
Nasce dal redesign che Paul Renner effettua a partire da un carattere disegnato da un suo allievo della Graphische Berufschule di Francoforte.
È un carattere di tipo lineare ("a bastone") che deriva da caratteristiche proprie della progettazione del Bauhaus, quali equilibrio compositivo e costruttivismo.
Una delle caratteristiche particolari è la grandezza leggermente maggiore delle tonde rispetto alle aste (l'altezza complessiva della "o", ad esempio, è leggermente superiore a quella della "i"): questo per far si che a livello ottico il carattere risulti compatto.
Viene presentato da Renner stesso alla quinta Triennale di Milano del 1933.
